“Parents are vital partners in a child’s education and when they become involved in the life of the school, then our schools become better places for students to learn, grow and thrive.”

Keeping this in mind, parent volunteers from Grades 1 to 4 were invited as guest speakers to acquaint the students with the culture, cuisine, tradition and historical importance of their place of birth (hometown), as Shalom Presidency School celebrates the ‘Unity in Diversity’ theme for this Independence Day. It was overwhelming to see the parents participate wholeheartedly and share their valuable life experiences to enlighten our young learners. The students too were overjoyed to see their endearing parents become a significant contributor to the school’s teaching pedagogy and take them on a virtual tour across the length and breadth of our beloved motherland, India.
