Recognising the vital role of the schools in spreading the swachhta awareness and implementation across the country, CBSE directs all schools to observe the Swachhta Pakhwada from September 1 to 15, 2021.
Under this directive , students are enthusiastically participating in various activities for the realisation of the programme. Swachhta Shapath was taken on the very first day of the Pakhwada, where the students participated. Various activities like Paragraph Writing, Poster making, Slogan writing, Poem Recitation and Speeches on ‘Cleanliness and Hygiene Practices’ are being conducted, where the students realize the importance of cleanliness and sanitation, as the role of schools has been instrumental in realizing the mission of Swachh Bharat.
Thus, all the above activities conducted by the school, have enabled it to take this mission of Cleanliness to the community, thereby creating mass awareness.
