Christmas brings with it the special message of hope, happiness, joy and merriment! Soaked in the spirit of Christmas, the students of Grades 1-4 celebrated the glorious advent of the son of God, Jesus Christ, with a Special Celebration on Thursday, 24 December 2020. Having our lovely parents as guest speakers to explain the significance of the festival to the students was a pleasure for all. The uncontained happiness was visible on the students’ faces as their friends read out heartwarming messages and wishes for them in the class during the secret Santa activity. They created beautiful Christmas corners, with colourful bells, stars, steamers and brightly decorated Christmas tree, showcasing their creativity. The virtual classrooms adorned the yuletide spirit as students sang Christmas carols, danced to melodious tunes and shared their thoughts on Christmas in their own special ways. The students came dressed in the colours of Christmas, a combination of red and white, spreading the message of love, peace and harmony. Our equally sporty parents never fail to amuse us as they participated with full gusto and helped their little ones make delectable edible snowmen in the fireless cooking activity and walked the ramp with them. This was the best way to end the year and usher in a new one with renewed vigour, positivity and hope.
