To demonstrate the effect of magnet on iron filings. Students were escorted to the Science lab where each group of two scholars was given a magnet and iron filings on a sheet of paper.

Keeping Safe

Students of Grade VI were taken to the Science Lab where they were first asked to identify the Hibiscus flower.

Simple Machines

October 29th, 2015|

Students were taken to the porch outside the reception area. A bicycle was brought there and the concept of wheel and axle was explained to the students showing the attachment of the wheel to the rod of the bicycle.

Lantern Making

The grade VI scholars made Diwali lantern with broom sticks and coloured cellophane paper.

Classification of Plants

Students of class VI were taken to the field outside the school building and shown ferns, gymnosperms and angiosperms. By observing the nature of the leaves and the venation, students could differentiate a monocotyledon from a dicotyledonous plant.
