Simple Machines

February 5th, 2016|

Students were escorted to the Science lab where they were shown a lever. By placing the fulcrum and moving it around they could understand the need for balance and hence, the fulcrum.

Properties of Air

February 5th, 2016|

Students volunteered to bring balloons from home. They were asked to fill the balloons with air. As they blew air into the balloons the volume of the balloons increased.

Force, Work and Energy

February 2nd, 2016|

Students were escorted to the field where they were asked to roll the ball on three different types of surfaces.


January 18th, 2016|

To demonstrate the effect of magnet on iron filings. Students were escorted to the Science lab where each group of two scholars was given a magnet and iron filings on a sheet of paper.

Adaptations – How Animals Survive

Students were asked to prepare a chart, groupwise, on classification of animals. They were told of the different categories of animals of vertebrates.

Force and Energy

Identify the types of force acting around us. Students were taken to the Science lab and divided into groups.
