As part of the experiential learning program, a Night Sky Camp was organized on 19 and 22 August 2019 in the school premises. The aim was to acquaint children with the cosmic phenomenon happening all around us, which they study in their textbooks but hardly get a chance to understand, interpret and appreciate.

Children experienced ‘Moments of Wonder’ as they gazed at the stars, the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn through an array of professional equipment under the able guidance of the experts. The virtual spacewalk experience inculcated in them a spirit of enquiry and a passion to find answers by way of observation and exploration.

This astronomical extravaganza also included interesting activities like making a star clock, sky observation chart and a sundial. Informative handouts were given, and it was an enriching experience as the students learnt more about Astronomy in a fun-filled manner.
