Clay Modeling Workshop by Parent Volunteers

At SPS, we firmly believe with a sincere attitude, that parents are important and their participation in their child’s education makes a difference. This two way partnership with our parents was further enhanced by the mothers of Galaxy Wing, who came forward and planned a very resourceful workshop for our little scholars.

There is something very therapeutic about playing with clay even as an adult. The tactile nature of clay lets young children develop their imaginations and their motor skills while having fun. Our volunteer mothers made quick and easy name plates with homemade play dough and craft boards. The name plates made out of clay looked incredibly beautiful, and students enjoyed experimenting with the different patterns they made.

Students were exuberant to see their names written in such a creative manner and proudly took the craft work back home to display.
