‘It’s labour indeed that puts the difference to everything.’

To celebrate this painstaking effort of the labour force, that work tirelessly, we at Presidency celebrated Labour Day with gusto. We have always believed that it is small acts of kindness that count and we attempt to inculcate that same virtue in our children.

Our scholars brought small gifts for our supporting staff, which was distributed to them during the Special Assembly conducted by Grade 5 on ‘Labour Day’. The special assembly was special in many ways, as our young scholars sent forth a reverberating message that it takes a simple ‘no’ to put an end the evil practice of ‘Child Labour.’ Children are like flowers and they need to be nourished not untimely plucked was the clear message to all.  The efforts of the parents who sent small tokens as gifts, were equally appreciated in making the ‘Labour Day’ celebration a success.
