“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.”

Shalom Presidency School strongly believes in honing public speaking skills in the students and teaching them to articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. An inter-house debate competition was organized for the students of grades V and VI on the topic ‘Gadgets hamper progressive and creative thinking in a child.’ Peace and Hope house spoke for the motion and Faith and Love house spoke against the motion. The speakers spoke eloquently and enthusiastically. The kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts, ideas and perspectives enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the students. Nitanshi Chaudhary of grade V B bagged the first position followed by Ashlyn Ajesh and Olivia Nair in the second and third position respectively.

Peace House tasted victory in the competition.
