“The earth will not continue to offer its harvest, except with faithful stewardship. We cannot say we love the land and then take steps to destroy it for use by future generations”

In this catastrophic situation, when people across the world are going through the COVID – 19 Pandemic, work from home has become the norm and education too has moved to the virtual medium. However, it does not stop us from coming together for a cause and celebrating the Earth Day even being confined to the boundaries of our homes.

Ascertaining the necessity of capacitating students to discern their responsibility towards Mother Earth and our environment, Shalom Presidency celebrated Earth Day on 22 April 2020 with great fanfare.

Students across Grades VIII-X meticulously involved themselves in a gamut of activities escalating awareness and consciousness about the environment. They wrote slogans and created thought provoking posters, drawings, paintings and collages. Their singular ambition was to make people realize the compelling need to channel their attention to the care of the environment.
