On April 25, 2024, Shalom Presidency School shone brightly with financial wisdom. This series of parental engagements was initiated by our visionary leader, Dr. Mrs. Lily George, whom we fondly address as MD Ma\'am, igniting the flame of financial literacy. It was conducted by a valued member of the Shalom Family, Mr. Shikhar Kohli, an expert with a Master’s from IIM Calcutta and Symbiosis Pune, who illuminated the path to financial acumen. With over 25 years of global corporate experience, Mr. Kohli\'s insights, drawn from brands like Carat Lane and La Pinoz’s Pizza, deeply resonated. Through interactive discussions, we navigated financial strategies tailored to our journey, guided by historical contexts and real-life anecdotes. We learned to distinguish between needs and wants, make smarter money choices, and gain confidence in managing our finances.
